Doing a C-section in about 30 minutes. Cervix isn't dilating any more and the baby's heart rate goes down when they re-start the pitocin.

No major news. Jacey is having steady contractions (thanks to the pitocin) and is pretty comfortable (thanks to the epidural). Carole and Lily are here to enjoy the fun!

I'm glad the epidurals exist. Jacey was having a pretty rough go at it and she's now pretty much pain free. Things are progressing and she is about 3 cm dilated. She's in very good spirits. We'tre really happy with the hospital staff; they are all friendly and helpful.

Surprisingly, we both got a decent amount of sleep. Jacey is currently taking a shower. In about 30 minutes they will start the pitocin drip and Dr. Nguyen will be in to break the bag of waters.

We've watched three episodes of CSI: Miami and are now watching a show on Geisha.

Jacey just ate some cereal and was given a sedative and some acetaminophen. Her contractions are 3-5 minutes apart and more "crampy" feeling.

I was just drifting to sleep when the nurse came in and gave me some blankets. I appreciate the blankets!

Jacey's contractions are strong and regular. She hasn't dilated any further since Thursday but she is 70% effaced. I've overtaken a little table with the laptop, phones, chargers, and the camera (don't worry, no graphic pics).

We're in the hospital in room 3604. Jacey is hooked up to the fetal monitors and we're getting settled in for the next couple days.

We're dropping Lily off at Grandma Carole's. Jacey's contractions have been getting stronger and she's showing other signs of early labor.
We go to the hospital at 9:00 p.m. and she is scheduled to be induced at 6:00 a.m. on the 24th. We've got all our bags in the car and we're ready to have this baby.
