Trying New Things
I am big on trying things. I like opinions and I love hearing peoples experiences but actually doing is worth a lot.
A few weeks ago I ordered some new handlebars for my motorcycle. I had them on and really liked them at first. After commuting all that time I decided to go back to the factory bars for now. Jacey was immediately upset about me wasting money (a whopping $30) on bars that I didn't end up liking. I don't see it as a waste as it completely changed the character of my motorcycle and I learned that I don't get upper back pain when I'm pitched forward a little, which I do get when I am upright with the stock bars. I also learned a new respect for mirror placement as I couldn't get the factory mirrors in a location that would show me what I needed.
These lessons are worth the few bucks and the experience of a sporty feeling cruiser for a couple weeks.
