Notebook!
Use it! Damn. I carry a little notebook in my pocket and I never remember to write crap down! Usually I don't have a pen with me ... as lame as that sounds.
I have a small (meaning life ruining) hangup about pocket organization. I am very particular about what goes in which pocket. I also do not empty my pockets! My items stay in my pants until I put new pants on at which point the items transfer between pants. I do not have an interstitial place to lose, or forget, the important things in my pockets. I need to work a pen in to the plan.
In case you are interested in what my pockets contain:
- Back right pocket holds my wallet. It's a thin wallet form All-ett. I love this wallet.
- Back left pocket is for my notepad and iPod.
- Front right pocket is for keys and knife.
- From left pocket has change, $1 bills (anything larger is in the wallet; if I have more than one twenty all but one is hidden in the secret pocket of the wallet), and my phone.
