Ramblings From Justin Penney

I resisted the urge to buy a man bag today. Instead I bought a planner that has some extra pockets.

The amount of things I've been needing has been growing. Phone, camera, iPod, book ... etc. I have also had some scheduling problems which really frustrates me when it happens. This is the first paper planner I have had since I attempted to go to college. I have tried a lot of electronic methods Palm, Treo, Sidekick II, Google calendar synchronized with a Motorola RAZR. None of them really worked very well. I also tried the "hipster" PDA which is a series of note cards held together with a binder clip. All were novel but really limiting and impractical to use, you definitely feel silly flipping through a bunch of 3x5 note cards.

I'm going to try to be diligent with this thing and see if it helps me be more productive and organized. I guess if not I at least have a notebook and a place for my gadgets!
