Ramblings From Justin Penney

I went to a comic book shop, intentionally, and left with some comics.

Two weeks ago on "Studio 360" they were talking to Joss Whedon about the new series of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" comics that he is involved with. These pickup at the end of the series and I couldn't pass them up.

Having never been in a comic shop, and not knowing any comic etiquette, I was fully expecting a "Simpsons" moment when I was chided by the store clerk for even asking for such a dweeby comic. Not at all what happened! He pointed me right to them and talked about how it was pretty neat that the show creator got involved.

I'm now doing some soul searching... by not being rejected, am I one of them? Am I a comic book nerd?
