I read in U.S. News and World Reports that S.S. Condoleeza is throwing a fit about magazines featuring naked women at the capital news stand. She says they are degrading to women. I can name a lot of other magazines that degrade women. At least the porno mags aren't pulling punches and get to the point. These "women's magazines" just drive home an unattainable body type that produces low self esteem. "How to pleasure your man" is not really a woman empowering subject!

I am sick of people trying to force their own moral code on the rest of the world. These subjects are so subjective that it's rediculous to think that any one view is right. I'm not saying that I think we should hand every 9 year old a playboy or that it should be accessible but once someone is of the maturity to make that decision then let them make it! That's called freedom in case you're wanting to name this concept.

I really don't understand our societal view on violence, especially in relation to sex. I'd say compared to killing someone... getting a little nookie is a pretty low-risk behavior! As clich&eacut; as it is, "Make love, not war" rings a lot more true to me than "Abstinence and Foreign War."
