mmmm... beer.
My first batch of beer appears to be doing pretty well. I didn't get the flurry of activity like I had assumed but the fermentation appears to be going good and the specific gravity is falling as should be expected. I finally programmed our thermostat and to save money it's 58 when we aren't home and at night and 62 when we are home and awake, I'm assuming that this slowed the fermentation some. I racked it into the secondary fermenter on Saturday and plan on bottling sometime this weekend.
