Ramblings From Justin Penney

There are a bunch of bills about transportation in the Mo House. I don't disagree with a lot of them. Some are limits on teenager licenses, increased fines in work zones, yield to emergency vehicles, etc. I really want to see something that adresses driving like an idiot. Like... all of this rolled into one. I always see people get pulled over for speeding but I never see people pulled over for tailgating or plugging up traffic by giong 10 under int he left lane. These are the things that make traffic so slow and dangerous!

I want to see a move toward more driver training, testing and a certification. I want to see dangerous driving reprimanded more than just faster driving. I definitely speed but not when traffic is thick. I try to keep back and leave some cushion. This just seems like common sense but people forget it. In their rush to work the whole get slowed down by just not being curtoues and logical about how traffic works.
