Board Games

My wife and I have a habit of imbibing on alcohol and playing board games. I bought Jacey a bottle of Moscat d'Asti and I had had a couple beers and started in on some Absente (pseudo absinthe) and out came the Trivial Pursuit. Trivial pursuit is a touchy game for us since I generally win. Somehow we got on the subject of Battleship so we ran to K-Mart to get battleship. Jacey was less than impressed. We did however get the travel version so I think it's going to make som road trips. I also think that it works really well as a drinking game. Every hit gets a drink for the firing person.

Some times games feel like a big waste of time. It seems like the thought and energy that gets put into them could be much better utilised. Then I think that it's a workout, a little training for your brain.

If I'm up in time I listen to the Puzzle Master on Saturdays. It's interesting to see the simple puzzles missed and the difficult ones solved with ease. At some point I think I'm going to try to get on that show... and Wait,Wait Don't Tell me. I think I would be pretty goo on that one.
