Ramblings From Justin Penney

The Examiner is running a story about I-70 titled At last, I-70 work almost done 10/22/05. You probably won't be able to see the story in the link as they want you to log in (which is rediculous) but anyway...

So I-70 is wider and smoother. We've been dealing with the work on this for 2 years now. It adds a LOT of time to the commutes of everyone coming out this way. So here's what the highway patrol says:

Speed is something the Missouri State Highway Patrol hopes to crack down on now that the lanes will be clear of obstructions. "It's going to be a speedway out there," District Sgt. David Schwalm said. "We're anxious to get out there and patrol."
