That Was the Darkest Time
I heard an interview this morning with a woman that had been in the White House press corps for the last 30 years. They first started talking about this Karl Rove crap and then later in the interview the woman mentioned that during the Monica Lewinsky incident was the darkest time for the press corps. Every one felt bad because Clinton had done a morally questionable act and then lied about it.
A blow job is a darker time than a war? What kind of crap is that. These should be some dark times in the press corps! Lies every step of the way... and they don't stop.
The funniest thing to me abotu this investigation into the Rove leak is that now the administration won't jump to a decision, the facts aren't in and we want to let the investigation play out. The first time in 5 years that they haven't jumped to a decision on minimal information.
