His Last Chanceas a 4 Piece Rocks
So my band, His Last Chance finalyl has a full line up. Shane, a founding member, came back on bass duties and it's been awesome. We played two shows this past week and can't wait to play more.
Wednesday we played at The Brick with Arlington and League. This was great show. The Brick has some awesome sound and was just an overall good time. League was amazing, one of those bands that just hit live. I bought their CD. I'm not liking it so much compared to the live show. The guitar sounds are weird and it just lacks some feeling. However live they floored me.
Thursday we hit Davey's Uptown with Cruch and Madstone. This show was frustrating. We took four guitars with us: my purple Tele, my Blue Tele, my Bullet and Nick's white Tele. The Bullet sounds way different than the usual Telecasters and the white Tele needs the switch replaced. I'm playing the purple one and first song a string breaks. Ok, pull out the Bullett. It's having some pickup problems but I use it anyway. Two more songs, another string gone. So I get out the white one and play super easy the rest of the set. I was so terrified of messing it up because there was no other guitar to use. Luckily it made it through.
