Good Deals

There is this really cool little music store in Odessa called Lynn's Music Station. Ryan, the drummer in his last chance, frequents there since he still lives out in Odessa and is always getting good deals there. I went down to visit my family and on my way out of town I stopped there. They had this 60's era toy piano that I had seen last time I was there that I am going to add to a song so I went in to pick that up. I asked about the piano and they shot me a good price and told them thanks and continued to look around.

There are so many neat instruments around there. There's an old single row headed tambourine that really dark sounding, a string drum, little maracas and stuff. Just a lot of stuff that you don't generally walk into.

I was about done when I asked if they had any racks there. He took me in the back hall way and pointed a little 3U one and told me the price and then said that the other one was that big one. He pointed to a really large SKB case. He said it was shock mounted and took off the cover and sure enough it was. A 16U shock mounted SKB case. He told me the price he wanted which was rediculously low! The price he quoted was 1/4 the price they had on the tag! The tag price was about half of the new price on one! I said yes without any hesitation. He told me to go play some guitars and he'd get everything off the top of it and bring it out. After he brought it out he told Lynn to make me a good deal on the piano as well and she cut that price in half!
